If you can click on my profile I listed what the bite looks like and all my symptoms in another post vividly I would greatly appreciate if someone knew if they could help me identify what has struck my leg

Could you google "biting insects in xxxx" where xxxx is where you live? And it would be worth looking specifically at google images for that search, at least to start with.
I think you need to see a doctor. I don't know anything much about insect bites but I do know they can lead to sepsis and/or gangrene, both of which can be fatal, if they go really nasty.
Hi - you need to go urgently to a doctor or A&E/emergency room. This is absolutely nothing to do with thyroid, but could result in blood poisoning/sepsis.
Please stop wasting time posting here and have this looked at.
In many ways, it doesn't matter what did it - it needs treatment now.
I strongly urge you NOT to spend hours posting, googling, reading, ... Even if you are certain what it was, you need treatment and you need to visit an appropriate medical facility to get that. And time could be very important.
As Shanegillispie has probably either gone to ER (A&E) or started to recover, there seems little point in allowing further responses on this thread. I shall, therefore, close this to replies.
Thank you all who pointed out the importance of seeking medical help.
