Free Thyroxine - 27 pmol/L
Total T4 - 154.0
Free T3 - 4.22
Any advise, please?

You need to have thyroid antibodies tested to know for certain that you have Hashimotos - it's very likely
If you have Hashimotos then likely to find changing to gluten free diet will help
Also test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 - extremely likely to be too low hindering thyroid uptake
Would be useful to test Reverse T3 but NHS don't do it
Ask for referral to endo or email Louise at Thyroid UK for list of recommended thyroid specialists
Full private testing done through Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven
DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw
All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take any Levo in 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after
Hello Slowdragon,
Thanks for answering.
I have Thyroglubin antibody at 14.000 and Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies at 15.9
I've just done the finger prick bloodtest from Medichecks (my doctor refused to test for T3), but at 4.30 in the afternoon after taking levo at 8.30 in the morning. This produced the results I submitted earlier.
I take high dosage Vitamin D, Ferrous Gluconate and Vitamin B complex. I'm also Type 1 diabetic with high blood pressure and cholesterol!
Thank you
Hi, me again, does this mean I'd feel better with T3? I take 175mcg thyroxine a day but it's not converting so well, is it?
