Thyroxin

Hello my name is Nicky and I have been diagnosed with Thyroxin which is making me very very low and tearful. They are having a go at getting the amount of Thyroxin right which is becoming a challenge, the Thyroxin has come up a bit, but it is far from right. The doctor said because of my past and I have not had hormone replacement for years that is part of the problem. So has anyone got any ideas what I can do to bring me back up to a normal person.

If you post your lab results (TSH, Free T4, Free T3 and antibodies - TPO and TG) and amount of meds, you'll get a better response as no one can tell anything from what you've said.

Very often the problem is that the doctor is trying to dose by the TSH. This rarely ever works.
