Following on from my last post regarding the attempt to get our money back from the reliable Greek source of T3 *I URGE YOU NOT TO ORDER FROM THEM*. As you all know we are fearing the loss of our money and we have had no update since the email sent out to us stating 'Your money isn't with us, it's invested in new supplies', remember that?? Well I went on their website and they are still allowing orders to be placed for T3 .. I think this is outrageous as they have no stock to send out and have NOT been keeping us up to date with our orders, I have written to them twice since that somewhat rude generic email was sent to us and have had no reply. My order was made on the 26th May and I have only received 2 updates, the first saying 'Thank you for your order' and the generic email sent to us on 12th June, I have had no reply other than those.
DO NOT ORDER T3 FROM GREECE ... As for the other medications they supply I have no idea regarding their stock and delivery times.

I ordered from them the 6th of may . I got the same email on the 12 th and nothing since 😤. I have contacted them twice in the last few days but have not received a reply . I checked the website last week and yes they are still taking orders . It's disgusting how they are treating us . I think we have lost the money and don't hold out any hope for the order arriving . I ordered tiromel from another supplier which arrived in a week .
I know, awful isn't it, seeing that by all accounts they were a reliable supplier ... They have most likely jeopardised their entire future sales of T3 ...
If they can't purchase Uni-Pharma T3 they have no T3 to sell unless they can obtain sufficient Tiromel from Turkey. Who would recommend or want to do business with them after the appalling way they've behaved since March anyway?
Hold on!! I ordered my T3 at the end of May with no prescription asked for!! If they knew that why didn't they cancel my order?? thgis is just getting worse!!
It's Uni-Pharma who have been asking Greek pharmacies to fax a prescription before they will supply. Obviously to ensure Greek citizens are able to get T3 instead of one or two online companies buying up available supplies to sell on at a profit.
The supplier has been delaying shipping and sometimes only shipping half an order but their website remains open to accepting orders despite them patently having no stock to supply. Another supplier shut their website when they were unable to obtain supplies.
I see!! So basically they are taking peoples money knowing this, basically robbing them?? I think you should make the whole forum aware of this Helena as I fear MANY others are being deliberately ripped off as we speak
Well at best they are going to have to get a cargo ship load I think. The problem I have is that they haven't warned people of the wait, not kept us informed on the progress, sent us a rude email AND are still taking orders .. I think their just trying to collect as much money as they can, send out false shipping info and rip us all off!!
Clutter I have actually been thinking about your suggestion to report them for tax evasion but I googled "report tax evasion & Greece" and I couldn't find any (email) address or any info on how and where to report it ;(
Marz : do you have any idea how to report tax evasion in Greece, pleease?
I think they have simply robbed us...and they keep robbing us for as long as they can...
They deal mainly with skimming, online terrorism (we'va had that a lot recently, haven't we) and online sexual abuse. What we realy need is a Greek tax office...I think I found it but it's all, literally, Greek to me!
I disagree, the Greek tax office are not going to be interested in us being ripped off, but only interested if they have paid their taxes .. fraud squad on the other hand would be as in effect they have taken money under false pretences .. which is fraud! The fraud squad may even contact the tax office to see if they have been frauded out of any money too and may prompt a tax investigation anyway ... I say the Greek police fraud squad
You are welcome to contact Greek police fraud squad. I'll email their tax office. None of us will ever get our money back - I want their activity to be stopped in whichever way possible. They are still taking money off peple.
Credit card is not an option for that supplier. Both PayPal and credit card companies don't allow payment for medication. That supplier doesn't have a way around that restriction (although I know of one or two who do)
Just spoke to my partner and she thinks the tax office route would be a waste of time as tax evasion is one of the reasons Greece went under ... So in effect they will have bigger fish to fry than our robbers. I will contact the police financial crime people and see what they say, I should imagine they will want far more than one persons account of them being robbed, if so and they do want to help I'll ask them for a possible where we can send our individual details of our misfortune and remaining anonymous if we wish ... How does that sound??
Have just come back from Greece. Unfortunately we have unqwittingly created this problem by inundating UniPharma and online pharmacies with demands for T3. So obviously the Greek authorities are going to ensure that theit own population are loked after first. Suggest you get on a flight to a major city and go and buy T3 from any pharmacy direct. You may have to go to several as they will only have few boxes in stock. Then It's up to us to complain to the Competion and Markets Authority (I have). philip.mccormick@cma.gsi.gov.uk They are collecting evidence now to submit report on T3 after Jeremy Hunt saw article on Vijay and Bhikhu Patel, front page of Times in 2016. Meantime write to your local Head of Clinical Commissioning Groupand and complain. But check that your complaint will be included in government statistics . Complaining to just local CCG Medicines Manager means your complaint will not be logged in statistics. I checked. Time for a 38 Degrees petition or chaining ourselves to Mercury Pharma or Concordia fence I think
1. Uni-Pharma had/have production &/or distribution issues which caused a shortage. Uni-Pharma are trying to control the shortage and ensure the local population is served by requiring a prescription is faxed before supplying pharmacies.
2. The main online supplier of Uni-Pharma T3 continues to take orders and money without having T3 to send despite being unable to fulfil orders outstanding since March/April. This is fraudulent trading.
3. There is no need to fly to Greece in the hope of tracking down Uni-Pharma. There is no shortage of Tiromel, Grossman Cynomel and other brands of T3.
Cost and withdrawal of UK Mercury Pharma T3 is a separate issue.
The problem that my post is wanting to deal with is the 'Trusted Greek online supplier' who has taken money and is probably still doing so knowing full well there is no supply to send us, not Unipharma, the Greek authorities and so on. As I agree with what your saying regarding aspects of your reply that's not what I'm trying to sort out at this point, I and other members feel that we have been knowingly robbed by the supplier and trying to resolve that,?that's the root of this post
I placed an order with this company last week (not for thyroid hormones, though), was instructed to transfer money to a bank account in Montenegro, and just received an email informing me that the order had been shipped, including a tracking number complete with a link to post office website. Seller has been helpful and courteous all along, and the payment method was never even discussed as I was told a bank transfer would be the only option. The only thing making me hesitate a bit is that it seems they now ship from Montenegro which is not in the EU = not covered by internal market rules on free movement of goods...which may or may not turn out to be a problem, depending on how zealous customs officials are...
The seller was helpful, courteous and charming for years until they ran into problems and were unable to send the T3 people paid for. They continue to take orders and money even though they have no T3 to send.
They have always been a reliable and trustworthy supplier by all accounts but they certainly haven't been lately regarding the T3 situation, as clutter says they are still taking money for orders knowing they can't supply.
Hidden Are you sure it's being shipped from Montenegro?
I have dealt with this supplier twice in the past.
First time I paid by bank transfer to an account in Montenegro, order shipped from Greece.
Second time (in April this year, just before this all took off) I paid by Western Union to Serbia, order shipped from Greece.
I've only just thrown out the packaging from both orders - Hellenic Post and lots of Greek stamps with name and address of sender in Greece on packaging.
Sending money to Montenegro and Serbia is their way of getting g around the financial restrictions in Greece.
I just assumed it was being sent from Montenegro because the email contained a link to the Montenegrian(adjective?) post office website...but maybe the order will be shipped first from there to Greece and then from Greece to the rest of the EU...? I guess I'll know soon enough.
No, it's purely a way of getting round the financial restrictions in Greece. The supplier will be informed that payment has been made, the order will be fulfilled in and sent direct from Greece. When working normally, the timescale doesn't allow for it to be shipped from Montenegro (or anywhere else) to Greece then to the UK.
As far as WU are concerned all we are doing is transferring cash to someone, not for goods. Many money transfer companies won't send money to them and other companies based on their business which is selling medication so they get around it like that, I just got a refund from TransferGo for that exact reason .. Got to find another method now, hopefully the WU one.
