Just wondering, on Monday this week, I stopped my Levo altogether and trying T3 only. On previous post I posted my results and this was advised as a good option.
Just a question, how long should I try this before having a blood test?
Another question - how do you have your adrenals and antibodies tested?
Thank you very, very much for your help

Hi - I made the same decision in May and so far I haven't missed the T4 at all (or any of the symptoms I was getting) Of course I had to increase my T3 which wont be supported by my GP but I'll do whatever I need to do to feel well. I had an extensive private blood test before making this decision and that included antibodies and RT3 which were both high.
Thank you, yep my RT3 was high my last test in early June, but I just wondering how long after going T3 only should I get a test to see how my levels are? I was taking 75mcg of Levo and 25mcg of T3, but obviously I've now taken my Levo away, so really just want to monitor my RT3 and wondered how long it would take before I should notice any changes, as I know Levo takes a while to get totally out of the system. Hope you are doing well.
Hi again - I'm not an avid follower of blood tests. If I feel well I continue without changes to dosage. When this went wrong in January and I could find no other culprit I had a blood test privately knowing that my GP would not test adequately. Having dropped the T4 on the results of that I'm happy to stay T3 only while I feel well.
Thank you! I guess I am just trying to find something that might make me feel better! My last blood test, showed I was over-medicated with my T3 but I was still feeling all the same symptoms as under-medicated. So I am just hoping its my high RT3 blocking things and now I'm getting the T4 out my system I should start to feel the T3 working. Fingers crossed! Thank you for taking the time to reply.
