T3 only test result

I have recently had a private blood test done for FT3 and the results showed an increase from my last one which was 4.93 (3.1-6.8) to 6.0 (3.1-6.8). I still feel I may need one more increase to my T3 dosage (currently 40 mcg). Does anyone know if another 10 mcg would be likely to push me over range too much? I have an appointment with my consultant next month and want to go well prepared for the deliberations! Thanks.

It would be a miracle if your consultant agreed to an increase with you being near the top of the range. You have hope, however: Bob Hope and no hope. How are your vits and mins - do you have any results to post: B12, D3, Ferritin and Folate?

In March, my B12 was 215 (140-724), Vit D 32.73 (50-200), Ferritin 116.6 (13-150) and Folate 17.01 (3.89-26.80). Since then I have been taking supplements - B12, B complex and vit D3 + K2 but haven't re-tested yet.

Yes, hopefully improved. I'll get a re-test done when I can.

How long did you have the blood test after your last dose of T3.

You should really look at all results together - Tsh, t4 and t3 for a better understanding of what's going on rather than just the T3

I took my last dose 13 hours before the blood test. I will be having all of these tested the week before my appointment in July but just wanted to know the FT3 levels since the last T3 dosage increase.

You might want to take that into consideration. My T3 levels drop very quickly so wont normally do blood test more than 7-8 hours after last dose. After 12 hours, my t3 levels definitely drops by at least by 2.

I think the normal advice on here is to not leave more than 12 hours or will skew the results
