Hi all, 18 year old female recently been through tons of stress and I mean tons! Yo yo dieting to be honest. Got m cortisol levels checked after a really REALLY stressful time - college exams, granny passed away, dog died, music exams . I am also on the birth control pill. My morning cortisol was 920. So do these stretch marks look normal? I think they're just from gaining weight. They're only on my thighs/buttocks but a lot ALOT lighter in colour and some in my calves but again their a lot lighter. Opinions please. I am not over weight and currently have no other symptoms

There is a Cushings group on Facebook. It's private and they helped me when I had some questions. I hope you get some answers :)

I've had that as well, can't say if it's related to Cushing's as I have not been diagnosed.

For me, it definitely appeared after weight gain and it faded away when I lost the extra weight.

Melissa, these are called purple stria and regretfully, can be a sign of cushings. I have high cortisol and have just been tested for cushings. I don't have these marks but I have researched cushings thoroughly, try google and look for images. Please get tested asap, its simple, they give you a tablet to take at midnight and then you must have pre-booked a blood test for following morning at 9.00am. If it is not cushings the blood test will show up as being less than 50 nmol/L. I wish you luck but please do this test through your GP, it is very important that you get this tested asap.
