I went in earlier and got a message saying it was hacked but I shut it off and got back in ok they've nothing better to be doing

There will be a weakness in the website if it repeatedly gets attacked. Something that has not been fixed since the last attack.

Very often these are not personal attacks - just random, mass attacks across service providers. The hackers don't think ... right I'll get you, and you, and you.

I had it with my site a few years back and a lot of other sites went down at the same time.

With the recent appallingly effective malware, WanaCrypt0r 2.0 or WannaCry, that brought the NHS systems down (and many others), this hacking is extremely serious.

We, as ordinary users, cannot know whether the hacking has put some malware onto the site. I'd hope that if they had, then at least one person would be reporting an issue found by their antivirus.

I urge everyone to ensure that everyone makes sure their antivirus software is up to date. And their operating system (e.g. Windows or MacOS) is also up to date.

Note that Microsoft have just released some updates for older versions of Windows (such as XP) because of the severity of the current dangers. They had previously refused to do so.
