Can you no longer sort by date / relevance when you are searching healthunlocked? When I am searching, it is coming up in any random order!

Charliecooper, you can select relevance or date order. If I choose date order I find the relevance disappears and any random posts appear.

I'm fairly fed up with HU Search. They are supposed to have fixed problems but I still find it hit and miss.

If you can be bothered, please email support@healthunlocked.com It's often useful if you can attach a screenprint of the page to demonstrate the problem.

I couldn't change the order of results! Changed yesterday (I think) - certainly it seems fast and the layout of the group selection is more obvious. But it doesn't seem to answer any of the other issues.

Helvella, I choose date order to see most recent posts in the search but the last few days it jumbles up all posts and completely loses relevance. Yesterday I had to refresh the page in order to switch from relevance/date and back and found it quicker to have 2 tabs open. Today I can't be bothered with Search.

There is no way to choose the order now, Clutter, as far as I can see. How are you doing it?

I could change the order from Relevance to Date and back again yesterday. But not today!

HB, the page view has totally changed since yesterday with the communities moving from r/h to l/h side of page and no options for Date or Relevance. Posts and Questions headers have appeared. Looks like the tech team have been 'improving' things and buzzed off for the weekend mid-job :x

Hey ho, another whinging email en route to HU.

I never understood what "relevance" meant in the context of the search anyway, and it always annoyed me that date order wasn't the default.

Hopefully they are going to complete the changes and give us a way of ordering the search, because as it stands it is totally unhelpful.

HB, I thought Relevance meant lets started with the old posts and always switched to Date order until mid-week when it went pear shaped.

please email support@healthunlocked.com I've just emailed asking for a way to order posts by date.

I rather assumed that relevance was based on things like number of occurrences of the hit word in either a post or even a whole thread. E.g. search for "levo" and the post which has twenty occurrences is top of the pile.

The search still seems to concatenate. So, if searched for thinksnow / think snow / thinks now - you'd get the same hits.
