The relationship between vitamin D and miscarriages

A recent analysis of five studies published in the International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics found that vitamin D levels below *20 ng/ml were associated with an increased risk of miscarriage (spontaneous pregnancy loss or SPL) in the first trimester.

*20ng/ml is equivalent to 50nmol/L

WOW, shame doctors are not aware of this. The majority of UK and Northern Europe population are likely to be D3 deficient, unless they are supplementing, and GPs often refuse to test D3 level. Thank you for posting.
