Swarin - he's saying they're normal because they're within range, but that's not optimal. The aim generally for hypo patients is for TSH to be 1 or below or wherever it is needed for FT4 and FT3 to be in the upper part of their respective reference ranges if that is where you feel well.
If you don't feel well on your current dose you need an increase.
Swarin,
If you feel well on 75mcg there's no need to change anything but if you are still symptomatic there is scope to increase dose. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 1.0 or lower with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Hi no I didn't as I seemed to be getting no where even when I told him my tiredness had returned and throats issue ! He just kept insisting it was all normal !
I agree with seasidesusies comments. I note from your previous post that you have stated you dont have much in the way of symptoms except weight issues. It would be worth running through the TUK symptom list as you may be more symptomatic than you realise. Whatever you do do not go to GP and suggest you need a raise and give only difficulty losing weight as a reason. Many GPs are already half convinced we just want more meds for weight loss as an easy option and not because we actually need to be optimally medicated!
Did you ask about the anti -bodies that were mentioned in your previous post ?
Suggest you get full Thyroid and vitamin tests privately if you can't make any progress with GP

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon plus eleven are best value & cover the essentials. Same test from different companies £99 - both companies often have money off offers. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw.
All thyroid tests should be as early in morning as possible and fasting. Don't take Levo in 24 hours before - take straight after.
If you are taking Vitamin B complex stop at least 4-5 days prior as it can falsely affect TSH result.
Thanks I will and maybe ask to see my doctor who is more to listening this one just seemed as though he was in a rush and set on normal
