Who is Dr P?

Evening all. Could someone please let me know who Dr P is? Does he specialise in thyroid problems?

Could I have his contact details please if he is a thyroid doctor?

Dr P is Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield.

He is the author of this book which is often recommended. I certainly found it very helpful.

There are lots of entries on Amazon for the book and the prices vary wildly, so check carefully for the best deal.

I think he is still working, but he is no longer young and has serious health problems of his own. I can't find anything current, but I did find this link which has some phone numbers :

Dr P is no longer on the medical register and can't prescribe. His main interest is in adrenal health as far as I know (I've never seen him myself).

I saw him 3 weeks ago t his Crawley clinic in West Sussex and he was wonderful. He listened, believed & understood what I told him & suggested tests to get further info. I've done the tests & am awaiting results. He suggested treatment but I need the results to confirm. I rang his office yesterday but he is in hospital. I am praying he will be ok.
