T3 in Cyprus?

Hello, it's a long shot I know but I was wondering if anyone on here knows whether T3 is available to buy over the counter at pharmacies in Cyprus?

I would really appreciate any comments.

Many thanks.

Brimstone9,

I don't think it is. You can order Greek T3 or Turkish T3 online though.

No harm in asking in a pharmacy. :-)

I suggest printing out pictures of the thing you are hoping to buy to show the pharmacist. And that would probably depend on whether you are going to the Greek bit of Cyprus or the Turkish bit of Cyprus.

Turkish T3 : tiromel.net/image/cache/cat...

Greek T3 : t3supply.me/images/img0006.png

To conclude human bean...there is plenty of T3 around in Cyprus, I found several that could order me as much as I would like. They just need a couple of days to get it for you.

It would be good to take a photocopy of a photo of the Greek T3 box and not the Turkish T3.

Thank you for posting the images they were really helpful and saved a lot of hassle ☺️

It is very cheap €2.20 ish.

In the main the pharmacists are very helpful if they can speak good English.

I went to several pharmacies in paphos...the best one turned out to be a tiny one just down the lane from our apartment...I can phone ahead and order as much as I like before going out again...phew!

Well it's not straight forward...the first pharmacy I went to didn't have it, but I could have Levothyroxine if I had wanted it without a prescription. The pharmacist didn't speak very good English.

The 2nd pharmacy was more fruitful, perfect English spoken.

She didn't have any in stock but has taken my phone number and said she'll pick me some up when she goes to the supplier on Wednesday or Thursday. I haven't got it yet but it does look promising.

She said that if I want it immediately then I had to go to the hospital get a doctors appointment and have it prescribed.

So, there is T3 about, some pharmacies may have a stock, but I suspect unless someone locally needs it or has requested it they may not have a stock...if you want levo...you can fill your boots ☺️

Will post as to whether I get it or not...

Not what you're looking for?
