Order private blood test in advance?

Is it ok to order a private blood test a couple a weeks before you actually use it or should you order it as close to the day of test as possible? Does it matter?

You can order whenever you like, stock up when on offer, nothing in the kit will go off.

Medichecks usually do a Thyroid Thursday but I haven't looked lately.

They can both be done with finger-prick testing. The most popular tests on here - the Thyroid Plus 11 from BH and the Thyroid Check Ultra-Vit from Medichecks both include Free T3 and Free T4.

If your paying for private testing, and can afford it, get the one that also checks vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin as well as thyroid antibodies

Blue horizon can test these with blood collected from finger prick. Not sure about the others as never used them.
