private thyroid blood test

Hi everyone.I ordered my private blood test from Medicheck yesterday afternoon,and impressively, it arrived this morning!

My question is,do i take my medication as normal in the morning,or skip it until after the test?And is it best to fast?It doesn't indicate anything regarding this in the instructions,so i thought i would just ask as i plan to do it first thing in the morning to get it in the post.

Yes, do test before meds and on an empty stomach x

I had my meds the night before and do test in morning on empty stomach , make sure you do the right finger so blood will come out

Leave off levo for 24 hours, fast overnight but make sure you drink plenty of water, being well hydrated will make the blood easier to flow. Take Levo after doing the test.

If you are doing the test tomorrow, send it back Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm so that it arrives on Friday. Hand it in at the post office counter and get a receipt for it. If you don't do it tomorrow, wait until Monday. You don't want the blood hanging around over the weekend
