It looks like you have Hashimoto's and are undermedicated. You show some signs of inflammation. Were you supplementing b12 or iron a week or so before your test?
Hello and thank you. Yes I take b12 sublingual under the tongue as I was advised to take it due to low B12. I don't take any Iron no. I do have elbow and shoulder pain and stiff fingers
Hello sorry for the late response, only B12 Solgar 5000mcg 1 a day, k2 with Q7 , 1 per day, i have run out of B complex. Do you think I am not absorbing B12 properly? thanks puncturedbicycle
No, I just wanted to know if your b12 was raised because you're supplementing or if it is something else. Raised b12 is fine is supplementing but can be a symptom of illness if it is raised otherwise.
Apologies for not replying last, I've been dealing w a family crisis and was probably right in the middle of that 10 days ago.
Mickeyrow,
The range isn't within brackets on your report. It is listed under Normal Range. The figures in red indicate that the results are either above or below the reference range.
You are under medicated to have TSH 3.72 and FT4 and FT3 below range. What dose Levothyroxine have you been taking?
By the way, you don't need to stop taking Levothyroxine or supplements 3 days before a blood test. 12-24 hours is sufficient for Levothyroxine and most supplements except iron which should be a week or two.
Thyroid antibodies are positive which means you have autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

CRP is an inflammation marker and 5.20 is a bit high, indicating inflammation somewhere in the body.
Ferritin is optimal.
Vitamin D 81 is replete and you can increase levels by getting some sun on your face and arms during the summer.
B12 is usually high when supplementing.
Folate is good.
Thank you clutter . I upped the Levothyroxine to 125 I feel well on this dose but my script is only for 75 . I have not been able to get my Doctor to increase it she said the dose 75 is fine. I was taking T3 but ran out a month ago. The aches in my shoulders and elbows continue. Please advise what should I do other than the Gluten Free diet. Thanks again
Mickeyrow,
How long were you taking 125mcg before you had the thyroid test?
Will do thank you so much Clutter
