Chance15 Have you seen your GP about these results, or has the surgery been in touch with you?

B12 and folate work together. As you can see, both of these are under range. You should pop along to the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum here on Health Unlocked for further advice healthunlocked.com/pasoc (probably best to leave it until the morning now). You probably need further testing to see if you have Pernicious Anaemia. See what they say then make a face to face appointment with your GP to discuss things.

Don't take any supplements until further testing has been done.

Some reading for now:

b12deficiency.info/signs-an... (click through the menu on the left)

Ferritin is recommended to be half way through it's range (215 with that range) so yours is a bit short. Eating liver once a week will help to raise this, which is a lot less bother than iron supplements.
