But unfortunately not new to having underactive thyroid. I was diagnosed when I was 21 with immunothyroidism now almost 24 years later am on 175mcg was 200mcg 3 months ago. Latest bloods tsh19 I feel washed out and fed up. I am trying to get to see a specialist as I have been told I am peri menopausal and am salicylate intolerant (an immunology linked). My area does thyroid register.

Hi Bunnyjones, welcome to the forum.

Your TSH is 19 on 175 mcg levo? Why did they reduce it from 200? It certainly doesn't sound like you were over-medicated. Is TSH all they test?

How do you take your levo? Do you take it on an empty stomach, and wait an hour before eating or drinking anything apart from water? Do you leave a gap of two hours before taking any other supplements or medication? Are you taking iron, calcium, vit D, magnesium or estrogen? Or PPIs, beta blockers or any other medication?

We do need a bit more information to be able to help you. :)

Hi greygoose

I take my drugs when I awake at 6am with water, then don't eat until 7 at 8am take some antidepressant and cetrizine hydrochloride with my real coffee. At bedtime I take my multi vitamin as I got told I was told they interfere. I have recently been told I am border type 2 diabetes. They did other blood tests and usually I write the figures down but forgot to yesterday as head full of cold.

I just now I don't feel well.

So, how far away from the levo are the antidepressants? Is it ok to take them with coffee?

There's no point taking a multi-vitamin, you won't get anything out of it. If you like, I'll explain why, tomorrow. But, right now, I'm going to bed. :)
