Went for my first appointment. She's not sure if me having a bad dose of the flu knocked my thyroid out or if it's due to having it in my mum's family. Had to have a blood test and waiting for her to contact me to see if my medication needs altering at all. X

When you get the results. An you postcthem and the ranges in a new thread and ask again. Regardless of why you need to treat it though often taking medication for anything else can have an affect if taken too close to thyroid meds. My first appointment with a new endo was a disaster because I have a shocking cough and cold so ended up taking loads of stuff to get me there. The additions mean other things were out of wack as well so extra testing to rule those outvof the equation!
