Hi if you haven't already had vitamins checked then ask for B12, ferritin, folate, and vitD ( although nhs won't very often check vit D ) as when hypo we are often low in these vitamins
Also when you get results post on here as gp tend to have no idea about vitamins so as long as they are within range they think that's fine even if at the bottom,but for levo to work correctly our vitamins need to be well up in their ranges, then members can advise on supplementing
The vitamins help the thyroid to work properly as well as helping general health.
Try and get your bloods done as early as possible as that's when the TSH is highest and also starve as again food lowers the TSH. remember as well not to take your meds before the blood draw. Hopefully if your TSH is as high as you can get it your doctor is less likely to lower your meds because it is 'too low'. Post your results and ranges for members to comment. 75 mcg is a low dose but may well be right for you but could be worth posting them to see what others feel. The ranges are important as they differ from lab to lab.
