Hi I wonder if anybody could help me understand my results for my serum tsh level result 1.0 and my free T4 level 16 pmol hope that makes sence to someone. I've been told not allowed any more thyroid tests as these results are normal! Is this normal or with these results should I persevere with private testing? Thanks

Gravener6,
TSH 1.0 and FT4 16 are unequivocally euthyroid (normal).
Have you had ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate tested? Symptoms of low/deficient levels can be similar to hypothyroid symptoms.
Hi thanks for your reply, so I'm barking up the wrong tree to think anything wrong with thyroid then, I'm on bow loading injections at the momenthad my 5 th one today and although I've had some good results regarding my nurolgical symptoms I still feel like hell 😩 maybe I'm expecting to much to soon 😢 I know I've got abnormal folate level! Which I'm waiting to address was just wondering if I should push for more tests can't help thinking there's more to know! Thanks any way 😊
Gravener6,
Pop over to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice on B12 and folate. My understanding is that if folate is deficient you should be supplementing as folate and B12 work together. I've also heard that symptoms often take time to improve after loading injections.
