Asking for further blood tests

Hello knowledgeable folk,

My next blood test will be in 4 weeks time. Currently only had tsh and t4 checked. I've hypothyroidism.

I want to get my antibodies checked for hashimotos, do I need to inform the doc beforehand or is it straight forward for them to send it off to the lab?

Getting checked for vitamins too.

What's the best way to go about it, when requesting these blood test?

Your GP will need to order the blood tests you want so you'll need to discuss with him/her.

Thanks clutter, that's exactly what I was wondering, I've rang doc this morning and she is to ring back so I'll discuss with her then. Thanks very much for your reply, really appreciate it.
