I suffer from AF and had been taking Amiodarone which can affect your thyroid. I have just had a blood test with a T4 of 32.8 and a TSH of <0.02 , my arrhythmia nurse has referred me to thyroid specialist. How bad is this ? Thank you .

Roony39,
You have Amiodarone induced hyperthyroidism. T4 32.8 is quite high and the specialist will want to bring it down into normal range which will cause the TSH to resume normal range.
Your reading are obviously not right and the drug you are taking increases T3. It would be helpful in future though if you post your ranges along side results as they differ from lab to lab.
Hope they soon get you sorted.
