Antibodies results

Would somebody be kind enough to post what the normal levels are for both Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies, and thyroglobulin antibodies. I trust you good people, rather than conventional medical ranges. :0)

I also haven't a clue what the difference is between the two, if anyone can enlighten me. Thank you! Xxx

Depends on the lab, mine are :-

TgAb should be below <20

TPO should be below <34

My TgAb are in the 1000's

It's not possible to give a 'normal' level or range. Labs differ. When I had mine done TPO should be <34 and TG <115

Thyroid peroxidase <100 equivocal in my area and I have seen <160 negative in another area. Thyroglobulin antibodies <115.

The different antibodies attack different components of the thyroid .Cannot recall what ,think I read it in " Thyroid for Dummies".
