Am I correct in assuming the bloods here relating to my thyroid are all totally normal?

It's the first thyroid test I've done as a side to monitoring my b12 levels that were really low and giving a host of symptoms.

I usually stick to he PAS group but I'd appreciate a little feedback due to not understanding what each test result actually means.

Steap,

Thyroid levels are euthyroid (normal). FT4 and FT3 are about the best I've seen in a patient not taking thyroid medication.

Thyroid antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's).

Vitamin D is insufficient. VitD is optimal around 100. I would supplement D3 10,000iu daily for 6 weeks then reduce to 5,000iu daily for a couple of months and then 5,000iu alternate days and retest in June.

CRP is an inflammation marker so a low result is excellent.

Ferritin is optimal >100 through to half way in range so 155 is very good.

I'll leave comment on B12 and folate to PAS.

Thank you. I thought that was the case but I'm no expert.

Lab doctor recommended 2000iu D3 daily for 12 weeks then a retest.

There are so many opinions on D is difficult to know what's best.

I guess it's a case of monitoring the levels every so often and titrating.

Steap,

I don't think 2,000iu is sufficient as a winter maintenance dose let alone to raise low vitD.

Steap,

Not really. Taking a lower dose will simply take longer to improve levels.
