Hi There,

I am also someone who has been taking levo for 26 years and being told I should feel ok. The trust me im a doctor has opened my eyes and I am convinced I am not converting t4 to t3 adequately, and would benefit from t3. I know my doctor will not listen to me as I have been numerous times with questions about my dosage and my treatment...only to be told I am fine.

Where can I buy t3 safely and with paypal or visa debit?

I spent nearly all day yesterday looking online and its quite overwhelming and payment seems weird....bitcoin, western union etc...!

Please help me....I feel like i am going mad

Thanks for reading

Hi Brummy

Welcome to the forum. Members are more likely to be able to help you if you post your recent blood results which include TSH, Free T4 and ideally Free T3. Other important nutrients for effective conversion from T4 to T3 are Ferritin, B12, Folate and Vitamin D. Please also post your recent blood results for these nutrients. Somebody can then advise the best course of action.

Brummy First of all you will not be able to buy T3 safely with PayPal or a debit card. Both PayPal and banks appear to have disallowed transactions for purchasing prescription medicines.

You shouldn't add T3 without having results for FT4 and FT3 done at the same time. You may just be under medicated and an increase in Levo might be all that is required, you may not be converting T4 to T3 adequately, but knowing FT4 and FT3 will show that.

I have just answered a post with information that should help you, and as it is rather long here is the link to save me repeating it all here, it's currently the fourth reply down

Hi Brummy,

After reading this forum intensely. I ordered a blood test from Blue Horizon Thyroid plus 11, August 16.

I posted the results and got a lot of good advice. The test showed I was deficient in B12, D and serum folate. I also have Hashimoto's. I would never have got these tests from my GP.

I now medicate with NDT, take loads of supplements and am now gluten free. For the first time in years my migraines have gone, I am less constipated and have even had a few nights when I have slept better. I have still a way to go but feel I am now in control.

I am sure you will get some great advice from this site.

I know it is expensive, but it uncovered things I would not have known and it has set me on the right track. I was not converting and my nutrients were low which shocked me as I have always eaten a healthy and varied diet.
