So I saw my Endo this morning. She is sooooo full on its like you get shoved into a washing Machine and then chucked out at the end! She is also lovely, said I was still very ill and she's not surprised I feel like such a wreck. As predicted she has 'upped' me to 150 of Levo and said she thinks I will settle on 200mg. I have already booked my appointment to see her in 7 weeks time. She wrote a little letter also for my DR explaining what I have etc. She was not remotely interested in my Iron deficiency or the numbers for my B12. She did however give me another massive hug when I left and wiped my tears off my face!
After I saw her I went straight to the pharmacy to get my Levo and the girl that served me happened to be fluent in English (Much to my relief!!) Anyway, I spoke to her at length re my iron - she said I can 'double drop' the Tardyferon 80mg tablets, she also sold me some other iron tablets which I can take 4 of in one hit and they are combined with Copper - she said that's good for absorption..........I've not taken them yet - Do you think the Coopper is a good thing? She also said her Manager has a great understanding of Levo and iron and she took my number saying she or her manager would call me to get me the right solution to get my iron up.
On the way home I passed a butcher so I just had chicken livers for lunch. Ate them with my vegetarian husband watching
I have another question for you all - sorry - A while ago I bought, selenium 200MCG and Zinc 15mg. I dont know why I bought them.........Should I be taking them and if so when?
My B12 arrived today so I gobbled that up too!
I am hoping above hope I feel a little better in a week to celebrate my daughters second birthday.
Thank you so so much for helping me. Its a real roller coaster isn't it!?
