Ordering tests for iron help please

When ordering these tests privately with regards to iron what specifically am I looking at ordering? Thanks so much for the help.

I would suggest this test. It only needs a finger-prick sample.

You need to get a full iron panel done. It is possible to have low ferritin but high iron. I supplemented for over a year before I realised and now my iron is sky high which isn't healthy.

You can get fingerprint tests from medichecks and other companies.

What is the difference between ferritin and iron? What would one take to improve ferritin levels?

Ferritin is stored iron. Iron is dumped into ferritin when there is excess iron for the body's requirement and is withdrawn from ferritin when additional iron is required. To improve ferritin level one supplements iron.
