Thyroid medication and digestive issues?!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any digestion/stomach issues as well as thyroid and if you find they improve at all when on medication? Anything would help!

they improve after your hormones are balanced.

i remember i had stomach issues when i was taking carbimazole....i still have now that am taking levo and calcium pills

they will improve dont worry..but eating healthier will make you digest better.

Yes. When optimally medicated I don't have any problem at all. Stomach issues I suffered from for years before being diagnosed.

However, I have recently had a return of the dreaded digestion/stomach problem and my thyroid levels seem OK. However, I am awaiting ferritin, B12 and folate blood tests as I have neglected these and believe there may be low and therefore my body cannot use the levo as well. I will post up my results when I have them to see if my theory is right.

What sort of stomach issues? I can't say I have had stomach issues myself but everyone deals with it differently. Unless you count weight loss

Could it be the dose of your medication? Maybe go back to your GP
