I'm 32, diagnosed with Hashimoto's in August, currently on 75mcg levothyroxine. Have an appt with my endo next week for latest blood test result. See endo privately and a naturopath. I'm 6 weeks into this new level of medication and feeling really good - like myself again! Most of my symptoms have either completely gone or are hugely improved... except that my periods are still coming early - 23-25 day cycles and spotting for several days before my period. This symptom (and unexplained infertility) was what alerted me to my thyroid problem. Before this my cycles were very regular 28 days with no spotting. Does anyone have any experience of their periods/cycles regulating when adequately medicated? I have read that there is a link to low progesterone and hypothyroidism and am concerned that this is the cause of my symptoms.

Hashimoto's: on levothyroxine but still spotting before periods and have short cycles
Female problems and fertility are symptoms of hypothyroidism and (I am not medically qualified) as you were only diagnosed in August, it might take a little longer for you to return to your normal cycle.
Members who've had similar will respond too.
Blood tests should be taken at the very earliest and fasting (you can drink water). Also allow 24 hours between your last dose of levothyroxin and the test. This gives the best result.
Just for information:
Yes, I had this same kind of situation, with those both symptoms after starting thyroxine. But as the thyroid hormone levels moved closer to optimal, those symptoms went away too, and after a while -business as usual. My Dr also commented that this is normal/usual occurrence, until reaching the optimal level. I'm very happy to hear that you are doing well otherwise
