Hello I was wondering your opinions on nature throid I'm thinking of taking this instead of lavo what one in your opinion is best or work for you better
Nature throid: Hello I was wondering your... - Thyroid UK
Nature throid
Have you already tried levo? If levo works for you then it is a much easier and cheaper option. Nature-throid is very good, I am on it myself as I wasn't doing well on levo but obviously far more hassle and expense involved.
The best thyroid hormone replacement is the one that makes you well. We all differ and some do better on a particular make and another may not be well on it at all.
It has to be trial and error I'm afraid and hopefully, if you do change, that's the one that makes you feel well.

I take Armour Thyroid. I love it because it does not make me feel anxious and short tampered as well as a dry mouth and lots of other horrible things.
My endo doesnt want to give me that i get tht way i know its the med cause when i was on a higher dose i wasnt
My Endo doesn't want to give me Armour either stating it often works for only a span of time and the doesnt work yet you have to stay on it for life. O had never heard this before and honestly don't know what to believe any more. Levo was horrible for me. My bones heard so bad that I couldn't use my left arm and other body parts took turns hurting like my hips. I couldn't sleep due to pain. I am on synthroid Joe but it doesn't seem to creating tsh at all. My thyroid was killed with rai due to graves last year. They just upped my synthroid to 137mgs see if that will help. My lifelong cholesterol has always been great but now that my tsh is inexistent my cholesterol is over 300! I had to research it to stop them from putting me on statins. When my tsh picks up, my cholesterol should go down. The things no one tells you. Good luck.
Every one is different as to reaction to with medications. Most NDT products are very close to being the same composition. However, there's no question about certain individual preferences. For me, it's all about the ease of fast and complete dissolution of the pill itself. Also with no chalkiness or bits, nor a bad taste at all left behind.
I prefer, for that reason, a product called NP Thyroid by Acella. As I understand it, it's much softer and palatable for sublingual dissolving. The beauty of it being sublingual is no need to wait hours before certain vitamin supplements or eating.
Speaking for the pros about on NDT, here's a great article that assures you that any choice for NDT may very well be on in the right direction for you.
