gunge80 T3 is not a weight loss aid. It is a thyroid hormone replacement and is used when patients who have hypothyroidism can't convert T4 into the active hormone T3.

I add a small amount of T3 to my Levo and my doctor doesn't know, but I self test, keep an eye on my levels and know how to dose without causing problems.

Have you had the basics tested - Ferritin - Folate - B12 - VitD ? If low in range they could be the cause of your symptoms.

Yeah d was low but not enough for treatment...it might be nothing might just be me being lazy and thick

Do you have any thyroid results you could share with us - and the ranges ? Have you had the FT3 tested, along with the FT4 - also anti- bodies.

When you have copies of your results post in a new thread and people will comment.

OK for the VitD is not good enough - you need the actual result. Self treating is not expensive and sometimes we have to do things for ourselves.

Are you on T3 only? That's quite a big dose. Is someone advising you?
