Should I reduce T3?

Endo ( reluctantly) agreed 5mg increase of T3 🥳 currently take 125mg T4 & 10mg T3. When i began introducing T3 originally I was advised by 'The Knowledgable Ones' here 👍to reduce T4 before introducing T3. Which worked out very nicely 'Thank you All'

Do I need to do that again with these results?

test 10/05/24

T4-17. (11-23)

T3-4.29. (3.1-6.8)

TSH- 0.44 (0.27-4.5)

Thank you

Reucing levo is usually only dose when you first start T3 as most peoples FT4 is near the top of the range and it needs ot be around 70% on combination therapy, so no, no need to reduce Levo again.

Free T4 (fT4) 17 pmol/L (11 - 23) 50.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.29 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 32.2%

If anything you will need to go back up a little at some point.

Did you follow the protocol recommended in this group of last Levo 24hrs before test and last T3 8-12 hours? What timing did you allow?

What supplements are you taking?

What are your most recent results for vitamins?

Thank you for taking the time to answer me Jaydee, yes I did follow protocol, I will look at suppliments & last vitamin results ....Sorry, should maybe be getting another vit test done, think last one was when i started.....but really of late really not been on top of things what with symptoms overwhelming me & trying be prepared- focused on the war with Endo & bit drained & worn out ...as well as a pretty full on day. Just greatfull to know I can start the T3 without taxing my brain any further, Thank you....its flagging.😵‍💫

When you catch up with yourself its worth taking a small amount of time to sort out vitamins with testing and supplements. Will pay dividends. :D

They all look good. If you forget vit D one day then you can double up the next to make up for the missed dose.
