A Dr who has listened.. wasn't my normal doctor. He said he don't care my thyroid is at 2.96 cus we treat the patient not the numbers.. I was on 50 now I'm on 75 for 5 weeks then increasing too 100 so happy I showed him my hair and my weught gain and he was happy to get my tsh to 1

i will, i wrote down his name and everything lol - he explained to me why the hospitals sometimes ignore their requests to test for t3, so hell try to manage my symtpms without that info - he seemed very eager to understand how i was feeling and even wasnt surprised when i told him i began to self medicate with 100mcg every other day as i felt so crap.

coventry, i was seeing another lady doctor.. once she seen that my levels were 2.96 she said i was in range, cast me off saying continue on the current dosage.. so i booked an appointment nearly straight away.. this time she was on leave and so i had the man doctors - relatively new guy.. sooo glad i did.. when i heard that he didnt treat the numbers i gave a sigh of relief
