Reduce or not reduce.

Hi guys could someone help me please, since my private blood tests were done I've reduced my thyroxin down to 75mg because it said there was to much in my bloods that was about 2 weeks ago my T3 was a bit over as well but I've taxed on the same, the last 2 days I've felt awful very tied weak and I've palpitations ( which I've always had since starting thyroxin ) but these are quite noticeable, I just don't know if I should reduce or higher and which one, I'm on my way to work now so won't be able to post till later incase you wonder why I don't reply to anyone Thankyou in advance 🐶

So the palpitations could be due to a bit too much T3. Your last results showed T 3 as over range. This overdose effect may be showing up as increased symptoms. Clutter no doubt will be along shortly with definitive advice, but meantime, consider cutting the T3 a bit.

Thankyou I will cut my last dose of T3 down and see what happens 🐶

I had the same thing-overdosing on T3. I didn't sleep at all for 3 days in a row, had the trots & my period was late. I reduced the dose & everything was fine by the following day! (My next blood tests showed I had reduced a bit too much so I have since increased a little)

Thankyou for your reply, my only side effect is the palps I can sleep once I've got myself in a position were I can't feel them as much and the b----dy magnesium makes me go the loo all the time 🐶

Oh it does? I have just started on magnesium & haven't been experiencing that.

There are different types of magnesium the citrate one is known to make you go, the magnesium malate is OK but not that easy to buy, I was OK when I was taking iron but had to stop that so now I'm on the loo a lot 🐶
