I'm getting this a lot, I generally only notice when I'm in the quiet but it's there and going on for months and months.
I've heard it means something but I can't remember what? Is it to do with b12?

Tinnitus. Some studies have suggested correlation with low b12, though the link was tentative. It can be associated with anaemia so my guess is low ferritin praps could play in. If you search on the PA forum for tinnitus discussions should come up. r u deficient in b12 or low in iron?
I had some kind of absorption/retention problems w b12 and oral supplements didn't seem to make any difference so about a year ago I started self-injecting. A couple of weeks ago my partner asked how my tinnitus was and I noticed it was completely gone. I put it down to the b12.
I've stopped my injections as I'm due a blood test and the tinnitus and sore feet are back.

Someone posted recently a video of Dr Bergman and his take on Tinnitus - sorry I do not have the link - maybe someone else will remember
My ferritin ranges from 33-64 (20-250) over the last year and b12 234-739 (190-900) over last 4 months. Folate is around 9 (2-19)
I'll have a look on the PA forum too.
Thanks
There are lots of things that can cause tinnitus. They include B12 deficiency and high blood pressure, exposure to loud levels of noice ... but there are a lot more
This lists a few more
Mine has almost gone since I got my B12 injections more often.
My b12 isn't low enough for GP to do anything about, actually my last reading was good at 739, a couple of months ago it was 234.
Hello misslissa did you take a supplements OR change diet that your vit B12 went up ?
