Hi, does anyone use ashwaghanda for adrenal problems? If so, when is a good time of day to take them? I know they're adaptogenic but wondered if there's a preferred time? TIA

Does the bottle give instructions of any kind? If not, it may not matter. If no one answers, you might look at reviews of the product on Amazon or iHerb.com and see if people mention when they take it.

Well it says to take 2 twice a day 20 mins before food so could be anytime I guess? But that equals 1600mg a day which someone else said that's quite a lot!? Wondering if I should just halve that...?

I would always try a small dose and see if your body needs to adjust to any new supplement. It appears to work better on an empty stomach. Perhaps just one pill the first day and adding more as you go along.

iherb.com/product-reviews/J...

Looking at the reviews especially the first one. (I don't know which product you have) It could appear you are taking a higher dose of levo since it may cause more efficient conversion. If you read more of the reviews you may get more information. It's been so long ago that I took it, I can't recall much about it.

Post again and maybe you'll get more responses because I'm sure many people take this herb. Skip a few days and try again.
