When is best to take levithyroxine when you work and out at 8 in the morning?

Is there any specific time of day that is best?

Thanks

I used to take mine before bed. More convenient and I also found it more effective too.

Tateanne,

I doubt it matters. What is important is to take Levothyroxine one hour before, or two hours after, food and drink, 2 hours away from other medication and supplements, and 4 hours away from calcium, iron and vitD supplements and oestrogen.

I find it works better at night, also easier to fit in vitamin supplements in morning, and don't have to wait an hour for morning cuppa.

It should always be taken on empty stomach. So bedtime dosing has added advantage, forces me not to nibble anything from the fridge on way to bed.

Now that sounds good. Didn't think about that especially as I'm not one to eat after dinner. However I like a hot milk before bedtime. So an hour before that I suppose. Thank you

You need acid in stomach to digest Levo. Milk is the opposite

so a generous hour or so would be better 😃
