What is desiccated thyroid and the link to T3?? Is this linked to coconut, as I read somewhere that coconut was good for thyroid conditions. Have I got this completely wrong or is it a scam?

NDT - is Natural Dessicated Thyroid - which is from the pig and contains all the hormones - T4 - T3 - T2 - T1. Nothing to do with coconuts - but you did make me smile loudly 
Yes you are right coconut oil is good for us all - I have read.
I did feel a bit silly after I had written it, because I then "googled" it and found out. At least I made you laugh and now I know. You have to smile don't you lol. I have a feeling my second cousin was prescribed that as a child. She was not diagnosed until she was a year old (now in her 60's) Thank you for explaining it to me Marz
