Hi guys, I'm new here. For quite a while I've been suffering with severe sweat problems, even when the weather is severely cold I still sweat, now I've been to the docs and had tests done and apparently my thyroid glands are completely normal so I'm really at a loss as to what's happening with my body. When I'm hot, I drink several iced drinks and still cannot cool down, and when I'm cold I fear wrapping up in a blanket due to over sweating. Can anyone please explain what's happening to me?? Has anyone else experienced this and has worked out some sort of treatment for it. Any help is absolutely appreciated x

There's no such thing as 'normal', when it comes to thyroid. The best thing you can do, for a start, is to get a print-out of your results - it's your legal right to have one. You need to know exactly what was tested, and what the results were. Post them on here, with the ranges, and let members have a look. That way they will be better able to help you.
