Hi,

I would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions re an endocrinologist who is not adverse to prescribing T3 and/or desiccated thyroid and HRT if/as appropriate. Please private message me if you know of anyone. I live in Berkshire but will travel within reason to see someone suitable.

I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and have a prolapse which is likely to be helped with HRT, either with local oestrogen creams or oral HRT. I'm looking for a specialist who will take into account the effects that HRT has on thyroid hormones.

Your GP should be able to prescribe HRT.

Email [e-mail] for a list of member recommended endocrinologists. Check with their offices whether they prescribe T3 or NDT before booking.
