I am so glad I was told about this site. I have had some great advice, when I was at the point of despair, I realise I am not alone and have gained more knowledge in the last couple of days than I have from my GP in months, so thank you to all who have offered advice and support xxx

Thank you xx
Hi Pinklady78, I feel the same way, it's been a real oasis in the dessert! Happy to hear you've found the support you need and that by sharing you may have also helped someone else with a similar story. All the best in your recovery journey xx
well done you for acknowledging the many good people on this site with their help , advice , understanding and above all else empathy of your situation to try to point you in the direction of better treatment for this debilitating illness that is vastly underrated and understood that can affect so many other forms of your life ...... in my view this site , and the people here , have been nothing short of a godsend [ and I have been using this site for 3.5 years ] ..... I cannot praise them and it highly enough
I too am very grateful for the advice and knowledge people have shared with me and I too have gained a lot of extra help since joining this site. Having struggled for many years with trying to get an underactive thyroid balanced I have presented to my local GP the need for better testing in the area of vitimin deficiancy and have got GP testing my Iron/VitB12 and Vit D levels this coming week. I do wonder why these sort of tests are not done as part of the thryoid screening checks. Would save GPs a lot of work later on in trying to establish why patients are still coming back time and time again with same syptoms !!!
