I wanted to pay tribute to Jackie.
I am sure many of us will miss her, always offering fantastic advice and trying to help others even though she was very ill.
It is a very sad day and quite a shock.
I know she will live on in are hearts and thoughts.
Rest in peace Jackie, your with the angels now

Jackie was the first person to help me when i joined Thyroid uk, I will always be so grateful for the help and advice she gave me. So sad .

She had been in hospital for the last few months and had three serious infections. I still can't believe it, I think we all expected her to keep bouncing back. I met her on here about three years ago, we had each others email addresses and communicated regularly, including sending card at birthdays & christmas. I just can't believe she has gone, such a lovely person.

Oh no! what will we do without her? I'd seen she was responding less, but she was still helping people until very recently.
At least we have all her old answers to refer to so that her kindness can continue to help.
Very sad. She was so very helpful and generous with her time and knowledge despite the fact that she was clearly having to deal with all her own health issues. May you rest in peace my friend.
So sad to hear the needs about Jackie. She gave me excellent advice regarding T3 when I joined here, I followed it and it's completely turned my life around and I feel and look so much better, I was planning to write and thank Jackie for helping me, I'm so annoyed with myself that I didn't do it sooner, I didn't realise she was so ill, condolences to Jackie's family, what a kind person to help so many when she was suffering herself. Rest in Peace Jackie x
