Been concerned about Jackie who posts a lot on here, she had a complication and hasn't been on here for 3 days. Anyone know how she is?

When I first joined thyroid uk, Jackie gave me lots of good advice, I believe she spends quite a lot of time in hospital as she has many health problems.

Yes, she's lovely, I think she may be back in hospital.

I was beginning to wonder that my self, I last heard from her on the second of July.

She has been so poorly, I do hope she is OK, maybe she has gone back into hospital.

I think she may have gone back into hospital. I was hoping that someone knows her better than me and might be in contact with the family.

I think you are right, maybe back in hospital. We should try not to worry to much, she is a real fighter and sadly often has to go into hosp, I am sure in a few days she will be in contact.

Thank you Kitten-whiskers, everything seemed to be going well until the last set back, can't help worrying but will try to be patient.

I can understand your concern, she is very poorly. I found myself worrying with her last op but as you say things went well and she appeared to be proving the medical profession wrong yet again.

Our thoughts and prays are with her, so hopefully in a few days we will hear from her.

Hi Kitten-whiskers, I have heard from Jackie who is at least at home now, I won't give details as isn't my place but she is very poorly at the moment. How she got a message to me is beyond me unless her family helped her.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but have you tried sending her a message?

Click on the down arrow next to your name on the top green bar

Then 'messages'

On the message screen click 'compose'

Then put 'Jackie' into the 'send to' box.

:)

Ok - no worries, just thought I'd check as some people don't know how to send messages. :)
