Oh, that's a classic. I wouldn't wish hypothyroidism on anyone, but I think he'd find that if his TSH was that high *he'd* have symptoms...

Yes. You do get symptoms at those levels. I was practically bedridden with a TSH of 3.

I take it you do have symptoms?

Yes thats why I got the bloods done I thought it was anemia caused by heavy periods. I had anemia last year and depression and was put on galfer and lexepro. And Ive been having smilar symthoms again. Feeling low and tired and belive it or not I feel best while exercising but day to day stuff drains me

I think I'd ask for a trial of levothyroxine. So called "subclinical hypothyroidism" is only subclinical if you don't have symptoms. You do.

Do you know if you still have anaemia?

Depression is a symptom of hypothyroidism.  Drugs such as antidepressants reduce your T3 which raise your TSH.

If your ferritin is good, you could possibly have improved your conversion of T4 but If you've had symptoms for a while you probably need thyroid hormone.
