SonSwinburne,

You don't need to declare Levothyroxine.  Pack it in your hand luggage in case your suitcase is delayed.  Have a lovely holiday.

We are allowed to take personal prescribed meds. As Clutter says, keep in hand luggage.

Vitamins are fine there's no restrictions as far as I know. If you're going for around 2 weeks you can buy a pill case and fill it for the amount of time (some have one daily compartment and others more than 3 per da)y. You then don't need to take a bottles containing 100 tablets etc.

No need to apologise Sambs.  :)

I always do that. You just don't notice if there's answers until you post your own.

Local chemists usually sell them, Boots will.

Hi Ive been in and out of France many times by car and plane and yes what ever meds go in my suitcase with Nightware, ready for the morning. no problems with customs, if I have to take one while travelling the pack is in handbag. I wouldnt put loose meds in a plastic container though.

One year I did accidentally leave my Levo pack on the bed  on the o/n stop for 2 week holiday. Just went to local Dr a sap and he gave me a prescription for the local pharmacy. You could put photo copy of your own home prescription at bottom of your case, in case you lose your meds, or keep with your EHIC card.
