Just had my latest TSH and T4 results and my TSH is less than 0.05, so still unmeasurable and my T4 is 20.6, panicking a bit now as isn't my T4 a bit low and I've been told to lower my levo by 50 mcg's over the week and take 125 mcg's for two days, day three 150 mcg's, next two days 125 mcg's and so on.
Thanks,

TSH 0.05 is low in range but it isn't suppressed. Undetectable TSH is expressed as <0.01. FT4 20.6 is usually very good and towards the top of range. What is your FT4 range?
The only reason I can see for your doctor reducing dose is that s/he wishes to raise your TSH. Unless you feel over medicated I don't see the necessity.
Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... and email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a copy of the Pulse article if you'd like to show it to your GP.

No idea what this FT4 reading was, I was only given the TSH and T4 readings over the phone. I did feel over medicated last year, as in felt rough a lot and I was referred to an endo to get me on a dose of levo that works for me....I do actually feel better for being on a lower dose, apart from weight gain, which I am not impressed about, will just have to keep beasting myself even more in my workouts! Mind you the endo did say my metabolism should catch up after a while...so I'll see how I go on an even more lower dose
I am almost back on a dose I started on 15 years ago!
my TSH is 0.04 and my GP flipped out about it, so I fired her, I told her ive never felt better, all those years I was on levo feeling ill with a TSH at 2.9 and she didn't care, wasn't until the "number" was off that she showed one ounce of concern. I knew why my numbers were low - I had started taking NDT . if they try to lower your meds, but you feel good on that dose, its time to get a new doctor, they work for us not the other way around as they would have it
