I am looking for experience of any differences between Westhroid and Armour - I have been using Armour for years but recently switched to Westhroid and have had a regression since. Wondering if there is a different doseage required?

Westhroid v Armour?
Rebeccaatk,
There is 38mcg T4 and 9mcg T3 in both Armour and Westhroid.
Many do seem to report that they need to adjust doses, either up or down, when they switch brands. The tablets tend to be made up of different exipient ingredients (binders, fillers). It might be that your body found it easier to break down the ingredients of Armour - or was simply more used to doing so. Try taking slightly more - another half grain or so - and see if it helps. Alternatively, try taking slightly less. It might actually be that you're finding the Westhroid stronger - what are the symptoms you're experiencing?
If neither makes any difference, then it's probably coincidental. You'll read on other sites that from time to time NDT meds are reformulated and that users report they don't work as well, but I'm never too sure what to make of those reports, given the ever-fluctuating nature of health - it's impossible to draw conclusions from anecdotal reports.
Weight gain, drop in energy levels, sluggish bowels, lacklustre hair and get very cold very easily and then hard to warm up. I went for the Westhroid since it's much cheaper but if I have to increase doseage it's rather counter productive! I will try increasing dose and see what happens.
