I was looking through the internet and found some websites about 'smart drugs'. I found out Modafinil is a thing, but somebody wrote that NDT is way more effective. I am just looking for a drug which can make me more successfull by working more efficient in university and my following career. What would you guys suggest?

I would suggest you actually take the drug you need for your health condition. Are you hypothyroid?

Taking thyroid drugs if you don't need them is dangerous.

So I should go with Modafinil?

I wouldn't recommend any drugs, if you don't need them. From what I have read it is a treatment for sleep disorders, used to keep people awake. In my opinion, getting a good night's sleep is better than anything for your performance.

The idea of people taking thyroid hormones solely to achieve success, as you describe, is one of the few reasons that really warrant them being prescription-only status.

If you do not have a thyroid hormone issue, don't take them. Full stop.

I suggest that you stop trying to find a drug for what is a social, economic and, probably, psychological issue.

If you had any idea of what is is to try and have a healthy life if you have a thyroid gland dysfunction, you certainly wouldn't want to be messing about with any hormones or any other ways to become 'more successful'.

You have a brain, so put it to good use and not try to find short cuts - it will rebound upon you and you may never recover and be permanently below par.

What if your search ends up with you having brain damage? Definitely no cure for that.

If you are perfectly healthy and don't have a thyroid problem, then take NDT you will almost certainly mess up your thyroid and cause it to malfunction. It is very dangerous and something that will affect you your entire life. I wouldn't wish it on anybody and it is irresponsible to want to use NDT for anything other than to treat an actual thyroid problem.

About as irresponsible as the .28 year old woman who climbed Ben Nevis for a selfie in trainers and shortsvand had to be rescued in a blizzard.

Not what you're looking for?
