I have in the last few weeks started taking  msm which seemed ok and in the last week to 10 days B12 at a dose of 1000mcg a day under the tongue. I didn,t feel too good today, tired slow and bit irregular heartbeat at times. Could it be the B12. Oh and I sometimes use magnesium oil.

It is possible that the B12 doesn't agree with you, yes. Try stopping it for a while and see if you feel better.

What was your level of B12 when you were tested?

B12 was 485 range 130-1100.

The B12 I have just started is 1000mcg under the tongue.

Methylcobalamin?

OK, so at that level, it really does need to be raised. Are you taking a B complex with it, to keep the Bs balanced?

Can I ask some advice too please? I tried 1000mcg of Methyl a while back and broke out in acne. I gave up on it but as I am trying everything at the mo to see if I can sort myself out I have quartered the tablets to see if that helps as I read large doses can cause acne. Because of that I haven't been taking my B complex with them - should I be? (My B12 levels were 377 (145-569) earlier this month. Thanks a lot :-)

Well, that sounds complicated. And, i wouldn't call 1000mcg a large dose when it comes to B12. When my B12 was 350, I started taking 5000. But you do need to get that level up, so, if I were you, I would post your question on the PA forum, on HU. I'm sure they will be able to help you. :)

have you tried eating sardines if you type in whfoods and sardines you will see how nutrient dense this food is  and you can find out if the reaction is due to the B12 being synthetic

I can't post any links for some strange reason

Yes I am. going to leave off B12 and msn and magnesium for a couple of days then introduce them again slowly. Must say in the past have been sensitive to all sorts of medication.

Best thing to do. But you can't really call B12 and magnesium 'medication'. Not the same as a drug.

Yes they are Methylcobalamin
